Default Turn the LED on programmaticaly

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, my understanding to melodramatically turn the LED on, all I have to do is;

LED.setState( LED.STATE_BLINKING );

yet nothing happens when I do. I have also tried;

if(LED.isSupported(LED.LED_TYPE_STATUS)) {
LED.setState( LED.LED_TYPE_STATUS, LED.STATE_BLINKING );
}

again, nothing (it does execute inside the if statement). I have tried it on the 6.0 simulator and actual torch device.

Any advice?

You have to set the on and off times first.

Like this:

LED.setConfiguration(ON_TIME,OFF_TIME, LED.BRIGHTNESS_50);
LED.setState(LED.STATE_BLINKING);

(don't use this literally, these values are defined in my code, so you'll have to figure out what on/off times you want).
