Default webservice client and SSO- 2 questions

1. How does one create blackberry applications in java that consume webservices. do we use frameworks like axis?

2. Is there any example code to look at which demonstrates a user logging into one blackberry application and the same user identity is used automatically in a few other blackberry applications?
