Default Channel Pushing for a non-developer - 01-27-2005, 03:30 PM

I need a little help. I have a webpage and I want it pushed using a "channel push" once per day. That's it. Just a simple web page pushed to a Blackberry. I have looked at the BlackbBerry Browser Developers Guide but being a non-developer I just can't seem to figure it out. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance!

There is no automated, out-of-the box way to do this. You will need to do some programming with something like Java, .NET, Perl, PHP, VBScript, etc.

The basic concept is for your app to POST a message to MDS. Various parameters in the posted message specify URL to push, icons, etc.

You can then schedule a CRON job or Windows scheduled task to run your app every day.
