Default Loading and running JAR and JAD

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

If I have a JAR and JAD developed using SUN's WTK, Siemens's SDK or Nokia's SDK, how can I use this JAR and JAD to run the application in BlackBerry 4.0 emulator ?

Regards,

Couple of options:

1 - Do an OTA download by launching MDS (before the simulator) and pointing the browser to a web server (could be local) that has the COD and JAD.

2 - You can also try copying the generated files (COD, CSO, DEBUG, JAR) over to the simulator directory. This works for files generated with the JDE, but I've never tried it with RAPC.

Not possible if you are using Siemens's or Nokia specific jars with the Sun WTK. Those are specific to Siemen or Nokia devices only and the BlackBerry cod will not run.
