Default using OBEX: is it possible now? - 03-23-2006, 08:53 AM

hi,
we are trying to connect a device to our BB that uses OBEX (bluetooth object exchange profile).
i searched the forum and found only a few messages about OBEX being disabled due to security reasons etc.

is there a firmware out that supports OBEX?
if not, would it be possible to implement the protocol using the JDE?
the only thing i see is SPP (BluetoothSerialPort-classes).

i heard about people using this certain device with a blackberry, i just don't know how. any ideas would be appreciated.

gs
