Changing Time Zone

I thought this would be the best place to post my issue. I live in Sri Lanka. Sri Lankan time zone was changed from GMT + 6 to GMT + 5:30. I managed to change my desktop time zone to GMT + 5:30.

When I sync my BB with Outlook all holidays become appointments since the two time zones are not in Sync.

On Microsoft Windows it was a registry value change to adjust time zone setting for Sri Lanka to GMT + 5:30. Can a similar thing be done with the BB device?

I own a BB 7290 with 4.1 OS.

Can you just set it for Calcutta (+5.5) ?

It does adjust it to MT + 5.5 but MS outlook seems to get confuse with the different Zone settings.
