Developer help needed

Hi,
I am needing an application that can download a XML data file from a specific web site and then display that data either in text format or in a spreadsheet format.

Is there a way to use the built in spreadsheet viewer for something other than viewing a spreadsheet attached in an email?

Are there any developers here than might be able to help me with this? If so, I have more detailed information.

should not be too complicated.
get the data with a socket connection and parse the xml-file on the blackberry, showing the containing data on a screen designed for this purpose.

i'm working on an rss reader for blackberry, should be ready in a couple of weeks.

there's plenty available for standard j2me so it's quite straightforward to convert for bberry.
