Default Could not connect my server. - 06-27-2006, 09:57 AM

Hi,
i have download my J2ME application in my Blackberry 7100g. After run the application, i could not connect my server through application. The same application i check it down from simulator.. it is working fine.. i do not know the problem..

I need to set any special settings for HttpConnection in my blackberry. My service provider is Airtel India..

Please tell me if anyone know....

Is this a device with BES or over WAP?

I do not know exactly... if the device with BES means wht should i do? or if the device over WAP, wht should i do?. i hope the device over WAP. i am getting IOException when i connect the server. please tell me....

Do you have a BlackBerry Enterprise Server? Is the device you're using connected to one? If you don't, then you must append some settings to the HTTP request string. Of course, I'm assuming you're using HTTP, because you are not very descriptive about your problem. I can't help you if you can't describe specifically what is going on. Source code would be best.

Even i have the same problem .... i did not install BES... do we need to install BES .
I am trying to connect to wsad server using HttpConnection .the following is the code :
try {

conn = (HttpConnection) Connector.open(url);
conn.setRequestMethod(HttpConnection.POST);
conn.setRequestProperty("User-Agent", "BlackBerry/3.2.1");
conn.getRequestProperty("Content-Language");
out = conn.openOutputStream();
out.write(data.getBytes());
out.flush();
responseCode = conn.getResponseCode();

no need to run BES server. we have to append some WAP setting in the URL.i have tried from my BB. but i could not connect my system. i have BB 7100g Airtel. If anyone knows plz tell me.
