Default Push Not working with BES Push Credentials - 07-27-2006, 11:08 AM

I am a newbie to programming for Blackberrys. Our company is looking to start pushing applications, sites, etc, so I have been looking over it. I was able to push until we restricted push access on the BES4.0 with MDS Push Principals. I have learned that I will need to include these in the Basic HTTP header to get the push to work, but am not having luck with this. Can someone please help me with the placement or code for including so I can begin the push process?

I have tried in the httpURL string setting &REQUESTURI="username:password"
and also HttpWReq.Headers.Add("Authorization", "username:password");
neither of which worked. Does anyone have an idea on this? This project is due in a few days and I'm completely stuck. Any help is greatly appreciated!
