Default BES required for MDS Studio? Hope not. - 07-31-2006, 07:08 PM

I'd like to use MDS Studio to develop a Blackberry app but don't have a BES. And, my customer base isn't all from one company and they aren't my employees.

I like the way MDS Studio handles some of the underlying stuff like persistant storage.

Can I just use MDS Studio, PHP/Mysql and Web Services without BES? I don't care about email. Thanks. I hope this isn't a stupid question but I can't find the answer anywhere.

If I do HAVE to use BES, what type of license do I need since I don't know how many end users I will have (it won't be a lot)
