MDS - Automatically Updating Collections

Hello,

I am wondering if anyone has experience with automatically updating collections in MDS. From what I have read I am assuming this can be done using the push functionality available through the MDS services, however after many hours of search and experimenting I haven't been able to find or create a working example. Has anyone come accross a tutorial or some sample code that I could look at to experiment with this functionality? Any information would be greately appreciated.
