Default Getting an icon on BB screen

Please Login to Remove!

I have made an application for blackberry 7130e and i am a new BB developer and so i am not quite sure even about this basic feature. I have written the code for my application and my problem is how to get an icon for that application. For eg. what is the command in J2ME which is equivalent to System.out.println. Can anyone of you please help me out in getting a display for my application.

I'm not sure I understand your question. But I'll give it a shot:

1. System.out.println will go to the debug console if you have the debugger attached. Are you asking how to get it on the screen?

2. Icon - There are a few ways.

a) In the JDE right click on the image and you can set a property (if I recall, I don't use the JDE directly any more)

b) The jad descriptor, the same old way

c) The RIM HomeScreen class on platforms 4.1.0 or greater. With this class you may also set the rollover.
