Default Problem signing programs

Please Login to Remove!

Hi.

I have trying JDE examples, but i can't run them into the blackberry. I have bought 100$ code signing keys, but i have problems signing them. For example, when i try to sign the email_sample application, this line appear in the signing tool:

FILE STATUS CATEGORY SIGNER SIG_NAME
email_sample.cod Not Registered Original RRT RIM Runtime API

Another line changed status: Status: Signed

"But when i try the program in the blackberry device it says:
Error starting email_sample: Module 'email_sample' attempts to access a secure API".

The Hello_World sample application seems to not have problems signing, but when i try to run it in the blackberry it says:

"Error starting helloworld: Unsigned module 'helloworld" may not contain classes in com.rim (except com.rim.samples), net.rim, net.blackberry, java or java".

But theorically i have signed the program.

Please, how can i fix these problem?

Thanks, and sorry for my english ;/

Default Code Signing will require for each Device

Hi All,

I apologies for continuing thread for my Post.

I have developed one application with mixed API's of J2ME, RIM and installed it on device successfully but when I tried to launch it, It will ask me about code signing.

If I goes to code signing with RIM they will ask for PIN number. If I get the signed file from RIM and build my application. Will it work on other devices except my device? Please tell me soon if any one has idea.

Let me know one thing more, Code Signing form asking for 10 degit device PIN but my device is showing 7 digit device PIN. Will it be get signature file if i gave 7 digit PIN number?

Thanks
Sachin

zhangoo - wrong thread, please keep things where they belong.

omlaverde - the code signing servers have been going down a lot in the last week, i've been getting a couple of hours downtime every other day. rim are aware of the issue and are trying to track down the problem.
