I want to develop an application that sends fax. But, it should send it directly, I mean I don't want any Internet fax service, etc.

My guess is that it may use CommConnection. However, I tried to connect which resulted with exception. Also, I tried System.getProperty("microedition.commports");, but it returned null.

So, am I doing right things or missing some points? Can anyone knows about how to send fax directly from blackberry?

Do you mean you want to send fax by calling directly the recipient's fax machine and feeding binary data to it?

Or you want to use your BB to pair with your computer/fax machine and send your fax over it.

That's an app I'd buy.

I'd also buy an app that would print to an IP addressable printer...like on my private SOHO net with an IP printer on the DMZ.
