Default Which Java version for starting code signing tools?

Please Login to Remove!

I ordered the code signing codes from RIM for $100. They sent me three files as an email attachement - client-RTT...csi, client-RBB...csi and client-RCR...csi.

When I double click the attachements nothing happens. I guess I have the wrong java version running on my computer. I tried several versions.

e.g. 1.5.0 or 1.6.0 - nothing worked.

I already called RIM but they couldn't help me at all.

Thanks in advance
Dennis

I had 1.6 installed originally and it didn't work at all. I contacted RIM and they said it must be 1.5. However, if you have 1.6 installed it messes stuff up. You can manually open the signature tool and open the files they sent you. That's how I got it working.

java -jar SignatureTool.jar

Thanks to your replay. I opened the signature tool and loaded my application. How can I add the files they sent me to the tool? I see no option to do it.

You just need to pass the name of the file as an argument to the SignatureTool. There is an artcile here:
