I've recently created an ant script to build an OTA version and desktop version of my app. The only difference is the OTA version consists of the JAD and the extracted COD files that are contained within the main COD file (which is over 64k).

Installing the app via the desktop manager works fine and the app auto starts. However, installing OTA it doesn't auto start. I've noticed then when installing from the desktop the device reboots after it installs, but OTA it doesn't.

In the JAD I have RIM-MIDlet-Flags-1: 3

OK I think I may have found the problem - after doing an OTA install the device doesn't reboot so the app doesn't load. If I take the battery out of the device then turn it back on the app auto loads.

Is there anyway to get the BB to restart after an OTA install, or get the app to autorun when installed, not just when the device starts up?
