Default Bluetooth settings

Hey all,

quick bluetooth question for you guys.

I have an app that successfully connects to bluetooth devices, and can send and receive data from it. Now my question is this:

Each time I attempt to connect to this device it asks for the password. Is there any way that I can save this information within my program, and pass it as a parameter when trying to connect to the device, or perhaps some sort of setting somewhere in my BB to hold onto it?

Thanks in advance!

Ryan

You should be able to set it as a trusted device, and that will let it connect automatically.
It worked on my BT headset, and my connection btwn the 8100 and 8800.
