Default Problem debugging on 8100 simulator

Please Login to Remove!

I have the JDE 4.1 that I did all my development for my app on (via Eclipse). Some users have complained about it not working on the pearl so I installed the 8100 simulator, it went into its own directory.

I setup JDWP to call fledge in the new directory and find the 8100.xml, all of this works and the app runs, however I can't seem to debug anything. I see a org.eclipse.debug.core.DebugException in the variables section in the eclipse debugger.

My first question is should an app written on the 4.1 JDE run properly on the 8100? 8100 Simulator? What do you recommend I try next, I'm running out of ideas.
