Default Device Error 400

Please Login to Remove!

Hello All

I was trying to send my helloWorld application to the blackberry device 7100g.

javaloader -u load Hello.cod

After executing this command the command prompt displayed that the file has been loaded. But When I pick the device it was displaying
Device Error 400.

I have done following things.
1. Reinserted the bettery of the device many times.
2. Try the device manger.

Can anybody please guide me what should I do?

Thanks in advance.

Are you able to access the device from BB desktop manager?

Hi Danbra

Thanks for your reply.
I am not able to access the device from BB desktop manager. Initially when I connected my device through computer, windows OS detected the device. Now nothing happened whenever I connect.

I wish I could obtain a screenshot of this. I assume it looks similar to jvm 102 error. Thefore here's my advice: you'll have to reload BB OS.
Take the battery out of BB. Plug it in to PC, run BB DEsktop Manager -> Applcation Loader -> put the battery in. Then erase all applications. (Make sure you have HH software for this BB model installed on your PC)
Is there a way to obtain a screenshot?

Hi Danbra

Sorry I am not able to send you the screen shot because I am working in a company and this is my company's mobile. But dear in that device only one blank screen is appearing which displays the device error 400 in a rectangle.

I was also thinking about corrupting the OS of the device so now My company is sending the device for reinstalling the os.

If you know the link from where I can get the OS of the device then please let me know.

Thanks and regards

go to Software for BlackBerry, Support, DynoPlex Inc., select your carrier and download HH or device software.
