Red face How to create a submenu? - 04-27-2005, 07:22 AM

Hi All,

I want to show a submenu against the selection of anyone of the menu item.
That is, let's say, for example,

MainMenu contains:
Item1
Item2
Options (on seletion of this SubMenu should be shown)
Item3

SubMenu contains:
One
Two
Three

Here, on selecting the Options menu item, it should show me the another menu (i.e. submenu) with these three menu items viz. One, Two, Three.

I could not able to make it out from the given RIM API help.

So, plz give me some light.

Earlier reply is much appretiated.

RIM Developer,
Abhi.

The RIM APIs don't have folders for menus. What you probably can do is make a new dialog box with all the relevant bits be opened by the menu entry.

I have seen a submenu post somewhere on the net....I'll do some research and post a link. However, I agree 100% with Doom's idea....
