Default ksoap2 need help

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
I want to include ksoap2 in my bb jde app but I'm not know how can I make it.
I download the ksoap2-j2me-core-2.1.2.jar file. I read in other post I must create a library project with the .jar file and build, but when I build it appears the error "org.kobjects.base64.Base64: Error!: Missing stack map at label: 165"
can anyone help me please ??

Thanks in advance

Default ksoap2 need help

My experience with external libraries is that you need to put the source in your project and compile it in. I've never had any luck with adding jar's.

Also, my experience with kSoap has not been good. It may be a great project, but in attempting to use it in my BlackBerry projects, I've found it easier just to do my own XML parsing and SOAP stuff.

Hope this helps.

Do you have step by step intructions on how to do that? I'm having the same problem. I just can't seem to get the ksoap2 reference to work.

preverify.exe is a command line application installed with the JDE.
use it to verify the ksoap jar-file.
you don't have to add a library project, it should work to import the jar in properties/build/imported jars.
you have to build a cod-file and install it on the device then - but you don't reinstall the whole ksoap stuff again each time.

I tried the preverify command with the following syntax and it came back with an error.

C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE 4.2.1\bin>preverify -classpat
h "C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE 4.2.1\lib\net_rim_api.jar"
"C:\BBTest\KSoap2\ksoap2-j2me-core-2.1.0.jar"
JAR file creation failed with error -1
The preverified classes if any are in tmp19036. See jar log of errors in output\
jarlog.txt

When I read the jarlog it has the following.

Error: No such file or directory
jar -cfm "output\ksoap2-j2me-core-2.1.0.jar" tmp19036\\META-INF\MANIFEST.MF -C tmp19036 .

Any ideas?

Hi guys,

i am also working on blackberry 8100 Games. when i obfcuscate the jad/jar & convert to COD file.it

has converted sucessfully.

when i am launching that COD file to my handset. it gives an Error starting <appname>: Module

'<appname>' has verification error 1044 at offset 6ccc".

As i found suggestion from some site i tried with unobfcuscated jad/jar generation. That time i was getting error as like this "CGX.cCanvas: Error!: Missing stack map at label: 30".

Can anyone help on this error..

Thanks in advance

Hum put the jar directly in
C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE 4.2.1\bin and type :

preverify -classpath "C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry JDE 4.2.1\lib\net_rim_api.jar" ksoap2-j2me-core-2.1.0.jar.
