Default To Display Splash Image

Please Login to Remove!

I'm a beginner and i'm trying to display a splash image in my proj.
can anyone please help me out with the complete source code of the application page which when executed displays the splash image.
i'm not able to find ebough resource over the net.can anyone let me know any good websitye which contains a lott of sample source codes for diff kind of applications apart from the basic blackberry.com website
pleas ehelp me out.

To build a custom splash screen you need to push a screen that contains a timer that pops itself, there's a tutorial here:

BlackBerry

but it uses svg so is a little over-complex.

Alternatively you can build a simple splash screen using Status.show("message"); which does everything for you and pops itself automatically after 2 seconds.

inherit from MainScreen
implement Runnable
add fields (BitmapField?)

call invokeLater() with your timeout

popScreen(this) form run().

as i told u...i'm a beginner in bb programming .please privide me the comple te source code of the java file from wher i can execute and check if the splash image is coiming or not..
