|  Require Help with Plazmic CDK 4.2

I currently have Plazmic's 4.1 as well as JDE 4.1
Now I am limited to only creating themes for the 7100, 7200 & 8700 series.
I now understand that Plazmic has released the 4.2 of their CDK.
I also have read that the theme builder supports 8100 perl themes.
Now my question is, If I update mt JDE & CDK to version 4.2, will I be able to create themes for handhelds running 4.1 OS still as well as create themes for users with 4.2?
and how?
