Hi,

Anybody knows how can I customize the text that is shown at caller screen??
(The caller screen is the one that appears when an "incoming call" is detected.)

Actually, I performed a search before posting the thread. Some people are trying to find a way to modify the entire "caller screen" (or even replace it).

I´m trying to change only the content text of the referred screen.

Any clues about how can I do that?

I actually posted from my BB and didn't notice which forum you posted in. I am far from a programmer/developer. If you are just trying to edit it without writing some kind of application then it is not possible.

It's changeable in theme builder for 4.2 and the pearl, but that's it. You'll have to wait until there's support for the 8703e both for 4.2.1 software, and in theme builder 4.2+.

i know this thread is a bit old, but anyone knows if its possible to change the caller name from the JDE (i just downloaded 4.3.0) using the event listener for incoming calls???

lets say I want to put 'unrecognized number' on all numbers that are not added on the address book, is it possible ? (This is just a first approach of what i want to do on my app, of course its gonna be more complex than that)
