I have this very simple webservice and client i developed for the phone in j2me jsr 172 using the latest version of the sun wireless toolkit. I used the wireless toolkit to create stub, compiled and tested it just fine on the emulate.

on my bb 8700g, the application installs fine and runs fine until I call the web service, i get the error:

Uncaugh exception: javalang.NoClassDeffoundError


Any idea? Should i be able to run webserices this way on the 8700g? What can I do to troubleshoot?

I used the sun wireless toolkit (latest version) and its
Soap stub generator for class that handles the web service. This code works in the toolkits' emulator, but produces the error on the BB when I select this menu item.
