Default get priority of email

Hi,
when i want to send an email out of my application i can set the priority of the email. but now i want to know which priority the email has got, when my application is looking for it in the inbox.

can anyone help me please?

If you receive a high priority email, it will have a red exclamation point next to it in the Messages list.

Level 1 messages (set by email filters) have red text in the Messages list.
