Hi..

Simple Question - How to disable SureType for 7100?

Im developing a application where I don't want to use SureType.. so I want to disable it... but didnt get a way....

In Options > Language > Input Method, you should be able to select MultiTap rather than SureType.

Likewise, in any text box (email, etc.) you can press the * key and it will switch between Suretype and Multi. This method does not work in all versions of OS 4.2.

seems i had the same issue 2 years ago: Disclaimer - it wasn't possible back then, I don't know if the api has changed since.

Yeap, you are right..... there is no way to disable SureType by programmatically.
And I didnt found any API related to this.....
