Default Task Switching

Please Login to Remove!

I am looking for an API, or other way, that will allow me to Disable Task Switching (ALT+ESC).

We have a custom application that we have set to automatically load when the device is turned on. We need to restrict the user from escaping out of the application so the only thing they can do is use our application.

We are using 7250's and will be moving to 8700's in the near future.

These devices are ours and we provide them to our customers so they can use our application. The customer will typically have our device from only 1 day in most situations to as much as 3 months and the only reason for them to have this device is to use our software.

I have looked everywhere and the only solution I found was this:

These are C API's and our application is developed in J2ME. I have my guys looking into if it is possible to call a C API from within Java but no success yet.

If anyone knows how to do this then I may be in luck.

That said, I would prefer to disable this via a native Java API.

Thanks,
Dave.
