Default BES failing to pick up appointments added to Exchange using WebDAV

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

We have developed a windows service that polls the database of our main product and picks up appointments that need transferring to users' Outlook calendars. These appointments are sent to Exchange via WebDAV and all is working well to that point, the appointments appear in Outlook as expected.

However, some users wish to synch these appointments onto their Blackberries, and BES does not seem to be able to see the appointments added via WebDAV. It has no problem with those added via Outlook, or with WebDAV appointments that have subsequently been edited in Outlook.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to why BES would not be able to see appointments in Exchange?

The service runs with a dedicated user account that has permssions on the appropriate mailboxes.

The template we are using for the WebDAV call is passing values for the following:

<g:contentclass>
<e:outlookmessageclass>
<mail:subject>
<mail:htmldescription>
<cal:location>
<cal:dtstart dt:dt="dateTime.tz">
<cal:dtend dt:dt="dateTime.tz">
<cal:instancetype dt:dt="int">
<cal:busystatus>
<cal:meetingstatus>
<cal:alldayevent dt:dt="boolean">
<cal:responserequested dt:dt="boolean">
<cal:reminderoffset dt:dt="int">
<header:content-langauge>
<header:to>
<mapi:finvited dt:dt="boolean">
<mapi:apptstateflags dt:dt="int">

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

DG
