How would I copy a file between directories on the SD card or between the phone memory and SD card?

Default JSR75 - Quick Tutorial

I've been learning JSR75 lately as well - here's a decent tutorial: JSR 75: Accessing the PIM database and File system. Part one: The FileConnection API

also - for finding the root filesystem - you need to use FileSystemRegistry.listRoots() - > RIM Device Java Library: Class FileSystemRegistry

note - to my knowledge, i think you need blackberry os 4.2 and above for file system support (haven't tried it on the earlier blackberry's though).

Hope this helps if you're still stuck.
