Default Browser cache

Please Login to Remove!

I have a browser based application. There is a fixed url from where the contents are loaded. The application is designed to show fresh data everytime the url is hit.But my problem is that , the link gets stored in the cache and then accesses it thru cache only.basically it doesn't refresh the data. not evn after refreshing the page.so i do not get updated data.every time i have to go to browsers options and manully delete cache contents. Can somebody tell me how this can be solved?how can the cache be deleted aytomatically.

good question - i don't know the answer. i recently had a problem where the browser was cacheing a .jad file so when i updated an application users were still seeing the old version - not good.

Maybe it will help to set HTTP response headers CACHE-CONTROL:NO-CACHE and EXPIRES with current time on webserver?
Just a thought, I didn't try it myself.
