Default Browser field and anchors

I am using a browser field to display html pages from existing files ( not URLs). Each Html page has anchor points using the <a> tags.
How to instruct the browser field to go to a specific anchor?

For displaying an html file I am using something like the following:

FileConnection fc = (FileConnection)"file:///" + fileName);
browserContent = _renderingSession.getBrowserContent(fc, fileName, this, _event);
if (browserContent != null) {
Field field = browserContent.getDisplayableContent();
if (field != null) {
synchronized (Application.getEventLock()) {

This works fine, to load the html file and position it at the start of the file. What I am looking for is to load a file and position it at a specified anchor point. I appended for example ( #3 ) to jump to an anchor point named 3 in my html file. But it did not work.

Any help will be appreciated.
