Default Interacting with BlackBerry Desktop Manager or device driver

Please Login to Remove!

I'm working on a project that requires me to be able to detect the PIN and model of a BlackBerry device plugged in via the USB cable. Is there any way of doing this via the BlackBery Desktop Manager or interfacing with the device driver for the BlackBerry?

I tried looking around Google, BlackBerry.com, and on here without any luck. Everyone is developing ON the BlackBerry, not for it, so that doesn't help much until sometime next year.

I'm using Visual Studio 2005 and C# if that makes any difference. Any assistance is much appreciated.
