Unhappy Struggling [Setting up a BlackBerry Dev Environment]

Please Login to Remove!

The company director has decided we should be able to provide a blackberry facility for him.

I've written a couple of java pgms in years gone by, and lots of browser based applications.

Having downloaded the Blackberry ide, we loaded the helloworld sample code into it, clicked debug...but just get to see the blackberry primary screen.

Got any suggestions on how to get the results to appear....someone did mention tutorials but gave no link...
I've read the blackberry developer guides, they give you sample code but they dont tell you how to execute it in a dev environment?

All pointers to working tutorials greatly appreciated

cheers

Just FYI. This thread was moved to this forum, and also your topic title has been edited to be more descriptive.

Hope someone is able to help!
