Default scrollable image

Please Login to Remove!

Bitmap locationBitmap=Bitmap.getBitmapResource("viborg.jp g");
BitmapField locationBitmapField=new BitmapField(locationBitmap,BitmapField.FOCUSABLE);
add(locationBitmapField);

This will only display parts of the image on the screen. How do i make it scrollable??

Try to use a FieldManager with scroll and scrollbars enabled, then put your bitmapfield in it...

Default old, but recent..to me

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem as genveij did...

I'm adding the bmpField to a mainscreen. A mainscreen is actually a manager with at least vertical scroll functions, isn't it?
But it only lets you scroll, when you have more fields in it then fit. I have only this one bmpField in it which is too big for the screen...why cant I scroll?

Apart from that how can I let the manager scroll vertically and horizontally ?
is there any default manager with that capability?
(I mean since I have only ONE field which should be scrolled over in both directions, I cant just use one vertical and one horizontal fieldmanager....)

I tried to write my own manager but somehow didn't really know what to do in the sublayout method etc....

any hints?
thanks in advance
J

nothing ?
too easy?

I tried now to work around the problem by adding some focusable nullfields around the picture, but this isn't working very good (I can see the left-top corner, scroll to the right top and to the right bottom corner...but I cant reach the left buttom corner..............)

Any hints on how it can be done in a better way?

Geez, here then...

Here is a link where you can download an example COD if you want to see it on your device.

If you want code go here.

The sample graphic I use in the app is here.
