Default Putting banner in blackberry screen

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I have to place an image at the top of the screen , to make it look like a banner. The problem is the size of blackberry screen. Some models have wider screen than the others. If i need to make my banner look like its occuping the full screen, a background color needs to be added.

Can anyone pls let me know how can i set a background color and display a image over it?

thanks
krishnan

something like this: BlackBerry SpacerField

draw your image in the paint method :

graphics.drawbitmap(0,0,100,40,myBitmap,0,0);
