Please Login to Remove!

Hello Everybody,

can tell me everybody, how to connect in JDE to a Oracle SQL Database?
In Eclipse-Java, i connect to a DB:
Class.forName ("oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver");
Connection con = DriverManager.getConnection ("jdbc:oracle:thin:@141.21.10.12:1521:swt06", user, pwd);
Statement statement = con.createStatement ( );
...

In JDE-BlackBerry-Java i have in vain tryed:
Class.forName("oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver");
HTTPConnection? StreamConnection?

Thank you in advance.

there are database drivers available but they are very expensive and i am not sure if there are some for oracle.
the easiest solution would be to use a client/server approach and have a server program handle the database connection.
