Default unknown Error on startup

Please Login to Remove!

Im creating a small application and it works fine on the 8100 and 8800. when i tried to load the application on 8830 or 8300 it loads fine but when i tried to start the application im getting the error message as stated below.

"Error starting TestApplication : Class 'TestApplicationMainScreen.<private>'ref member out of range."
Im quite confused why im getting these errors on only those simulators and devices when the other pearl and 8800 it works fine.

well... im not sure u will benefit from this...

I had somewhat the same problems as you when switching my software to various phones. It was due to my internal codecomments (i espceially sucpect the object type Date) and outcommented code. After completely cleansing the code i had no problems

sorry, i may have been unclear in my post.

its very simple get rid of comments in your code

Quote:
DbWrapper dbWrapper=new DbWrapper();
database.saveDatabase(dbWrapper.adColumn(database. getDatabase(),tableName,rowId,columnValues));
new BasicMail(tableName+"#"+rowId);
// Date date=new Date();

/* _infoField.setText("Saved data "+ j);
j++;
*/
}
} catch (IOException e) {
System.err.println(e.toString()); // It is likely the stream was closed.
}
in above example remove all the /* */ and all the //
