Default Debugging midlet on 8800

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

What is the most convenient way to debug a midlet on the device (not simulator)?
Currently I use RIM JDE to develop and debug multi-media midlet, and after every change I have to advance its version manually, then recompile and upload it, wait until the device is up again, then attach the JDE to it -- all this takes few minutes. Sometimes it's stuck while attaching and requires another reset.
Is there any tool to perform all this process more convenient and seemless?
Besides, the java MM framework sometimes "dies" silently, without any exception (eg., when I supply incorrect contenttype etc.). Is any way to trace the midlet in some more detailed way?

Thanks!
