Default Simple Debugging Question

Please Login to Remove!

I apologize if this is totally obvious:

I want to develop without using the blackberry IDE (although i have the sdk installed). Just plain old emacs, ant, and rapc. I do, however, want to debug using the simulator/real device and JDWP (I think), just to get stdout and stderr dumped to the cygwin window from which i invoke the simulator. Can someone tell me how to do that like i'm a five year old?

a second alternative would be telling me how to invoke the jdwp/simlator in a way where i could then have the "output" pane show stdout and stderr.

anyone able to help?
thanks so much

Default

there are several posts that explain how to integrate the JDE into eclipse. as this uses ant i guess you can just use the ant-script and run it without eclipse.
