I have an internall Java (SWING) app that I have the source code to which I'm looking to port over. It doesn't do anything really fancy, just a SWING front end to a database (accessed via JDBC).

Anything I should be aware of?

in addition you won't find a jdbc-driver on your BB.
your best bet is to rewrite your application on the BB while providing the data-source from your "real" java application.
