Please can someone refer to me whether people make contacts here via the threads or do they contact personally? As I can see one of my threads were unanswered as was expecting to get some replies please do let me know if a contact number is a better option here. Actually was avoiding the same because they tend to attract unsolicited callers.

I personally would not post a phone number in an open thread, and I would not advise anyone else to either.

Normally, the poster would post contact information for response. In the case of the above jobs announcement, you probably should try sending a PM, and if you click on that user's name, you will see he/she has their email enabled for response.

Good luck.
