Default BlackBerry Service on EMM Allow BIS as well? - 12-20-2006, 08:31 AM

A quick question: if I set up EMM Exchange service for my company's e-mail and get the BlackBerry plan for my device, will I still be able to get e-mail on my BB device through Cingular BIS for my personal e-mail address?

yes, you can run BIS and BES at the same time.

Thanks for the quick answer.

Another question: how disruptive is migration?

I've asked my current ISP about the DNS/MX record update and they can do it right away but propagation could take some time.

What other delay should I be concerned with from EMM's end for migration?

Am interested in signing up for the Business Plan for my company but am concerned about migration and e-mail loss issue.
