Most of the additions people wanted from the previous theme are implemented in this one such as rolling from different icons on the bottom to the calendar and messages entries. I have also taken advantage of the added features of Theme Builder 5.0 and added in some zoom in and zoom out effects when opening or closing an application and the fade effect is used between the homescreen and the icon / application list.

Let me know what you think, be nice to know if there's repeat people using the theme that had it on the 8900. :)
I like the "L" type themes for the hidden ones. Anyone have any good suggestions? I'm no good at developing this stuff so theme creator is out.

I am trying to figure out if it is possible to have a video for the background.
I read the sticky on animated themes but it did not fully awsner me.

The official faq states that one can convert a swf into a svg.
But it also states that it theoretically cannot be bigger than 64k.
Can anybody confirm this ?

Also in the new 5.0 Theme Builder the svg browse field seems to be only in the lock screen section and not int he home screen section, although the help states otherwise.

Generally the idea is to take a video, convert it into swf then through the composer into the svg and then loop it atleast in the lock screen throught the builder. Is this possible ? Since the final svg would definately be more than 64k.

I personally do not own a blackberry, it is for a client and i do not trust the simulator, hence my question.

Thanks in advance,

looks prettier, but still having a problem or just wanted to find out if the call idle screen is still not customizable to insert your own picture as in all previous versions of Theme Builder. Seems like a tedious thing but is something I would like to do or have been able to do for some time for my themes. Thanks.

Supported Device Model(s) and OS: 8900 Curve 4.6 and higher, 9600 Tour 4.7 and higher, 9700 Bold 5.0
Theme Cost: $2.99

BlueTabs is our latest functional and professional theme for the Curve 8900, Tour 9630/9650, and Bold 9700.

5 upcoming calendar entries with access to each and the application itself (when using the version with calendar entries).

5 tabs (contacts, messages, emails, IM, and voicemail)

5 HIDDEN tabs (social site, media, radio, browser, and maps)

weather slot shown on the homescreen for use with your favorite weather app. Also shows on your lockscreen.

hotkeys : '0' opens BerryWeather if installed, '$' opens manage your connections, and 'space' opens QuickLaunch if installed

wallpaper friendly

hidden dock scrolls up and down when active/non-active

Another neat feature is the IM, voicemail, social site, radio, and maps tabs along with the weather slot. You can customize these to be whatever application you wish. They are the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th applications in your application menu. So, if you want the 'social site' tab to open Facebook then make this spot #3 in your menu. On the other hand if you want MySpace then put it #3 in your menu. The same goes for the IM, voicemail, radio, maps, and weather!

UPDATES:

Now with an optional 'no calendar on homescreen' version. Instead, the emails tab has been removed and replaced with a calendar tab. In this version your emails, SMS, and MMS will all be in one folder under the 'messages' tab. See last picture above.

UPDATES #2:

I have changed the BBM tab to 'IM' and it can now be customized to an application of your choice. Voicemail has also been updated so you can open an application of your choice as well. This is for those who want to open something other than BBM and Visual Voicemail.

UPDATES #3:

Support for the 9600 Tour and 9700 Bold is now available!

Some examples with other wallpapers all available here on CrackBerry in the wallpaper section :
