Default Removing E-mail Accounts from Previous User - No BIS - 12-02-2007, 12:50 PM

Maybe you guys can help me out. I upgraded my mother's 7100t to 4.1.0.377. It used to be my brother's before he got a pearl. Prior to the upgrade, my brother's e-mail accounts weren't on the menu. Post-upgrade, the BB e-mail account and his AOL e-mail account popped up, and the option to hide them isn't there, only to move them. My mom will get all confused [she only knows how to answer/send calls and play Brickbreaker], so my question is, how do I remove these? There is no BIS on the phone, so I'm a little confused with how to remove them!

It sure sounds like the PIN on the device IS associated with a BIS account. You could try calling T-Mobile and see if they will help you out.

OR, are you able to send email from the device using one of the BIS accounts? If so, send an email to yourself (like your @gmail, @yahoo, etc) and see what the sent from email address shows...then you'll know if your brother really had a BIS account or not

He did have BIS, the phone was his for about a year and I don't know if the icons just disappeared when we put my mom's SIM in it or what, he switched them. But they're here now all of a sudden again.
