Question Calendar/Task Reminder Window - 01-13-2008, 07:33 PM

I recently received a refurbished 7130e & seemed to have synced it successfully with my laptop. However, I no longer get those small pop-up reminder windows when I have a task or calendar item due. My LED light turns red, but there is nothing that says which tasks it is blinking for. Any suggestions?

Default Calendar/Task Reminder Window - 05-22-2008, 10:10 AM

I too have this problem on my 7130e. Calendar pop-ops have always worked correctly, until 2 or 3 days ago. (I've had the device for 2 years, and I consider myself a BB expert.) Now the calendar pop-ups never appear. The calendar alert sounds and/or vibrates, per the current profile setting, and the red LED flashes -- but no pop-up. By the way, rebooting the device (removing the battery) does not help, as others have suggested in other postings.

Has anyone ever found a solution to this mystery?

Welcome to my world guys - I had the same problem a few months ago. I spent countless hours on the phone with RIM and even switched out my unit. After weeks of testing, calls to RIM and reloading the OS I found it to be a corrupted file on Outlook.

I landed up not syncing with Outlook, I now use Google calendar.

Here is a link to the thread about my problem.
