Assuming your working with a BES Server backend, there is an "Open attachment" option in the message specific view on the shuttle menu. JPG attachments you are out of luck until the 4.0 release of BES I do believe. We are running the 3.6 SP3, HF2 version and there is no JPG attachment option on the BES attachment service.
