Under the phone/Call Log icon, does it show the 'my number' field correctly?

options > Sim card > menu > edit SIM phone number
do you have that options? if yes, correct the number there and it should show properly.

I think with the Nextel devices it takes a Master Radio Reset. I don't remember there being a SIM Card number option on those.

1. Go into Options (the wrench icon).
2. Scroll down and click on Security Options, then General Settings
3. When you get into the General Settings screen, click the trackwheel to get the drop-down menu and click on Master Radio Reset.
4. Click Yes on the question about resetting factory defaults.
5. Put in the password of 0000 (that's 4 zeros. Click OK after entering the password.
6. Back out of the General Settings screen to the list of options and click on Network.
7. Click the trackwheel and click 'Register Now'.
8. Click Ok for the Registration message (that will be sent later...lalala)
9. Go back to the main screen and turn on your wireless (Master Reset turns it off).

Once you have NXTL again, does your number change under the Phone icon?

The times that I've seen this with the devices I support I wound up calling Nextel/Sprint to resolve.....

Wirelessly posted (8330 Sprint)

This is an old school Nextel trick:

Call yourself and leave yourself an urgent voicemail(from another phone).

I know it sounds weird, but it should work.
