Something weird is happening to my 7100i

The best way I can explain it is like this....

Person A's Phone number is: 5161234567
Person B's Phone number is: 5169876543

My phone is also in the 516 area code.

If I dial 1234567, the screen shows up with Person A's name
If I dial 9876543, it shows 9876543. Doesnt show the persons Name at all...If I dial 5169876543 the persons name WILL show up.

Now....I have 315 contacts in my phone......as far as I know.....this is only happening with one persons contact.

I have deleted the persons name and entered it again as something different to see if it would have any effect, it didnt

I add more people to my phone, it works fine like it should. Its just this one persons phone number. Its not an unusual number either...

Its strange...

Anyone have any ideas??

Its really strange that its just this contacts phone numbers that are doing this.....

You said you have deleted that person's name and entered it as something else... do you mean you completely deleted that contact, and enter one new? And still no go?

I completely remove the one contact, renamed him and put all the information in again....still the same thing happening

Instead of:

Connected
Person B
5169876543
Work

anyone???

you mean only this number displays without name showing when calling if so you only need to remember the number's name cause other numbers are showed up well,it's not a difficult thing i think
