Default 7100 I Cant hear from Headset - 05-08-2008, 02:20 PM

I work for a large company and we have recently bought 14 Nextel 7100i BB, 7 of them have had the same issue. First it starts with the issue of not being able to hear anything from the actaul headset (putting it to your ear like normal). Then we tried to plug in a headset it works for a cpl days then we bought blue tooth headsets that feature stops working after a week or so. Is any body else having this issue ??? Does anyon know of a fix? I have contacted Nextel and BB but there were no help. Actually I shipped three phones to BB and they stated all three had water damage which was not true. The sticker in the inside was white as it should be, BB returned the phones with no data and missing screws. I took it to two local service centers and both locations open the phone and saw no water damage. What is going on I think BB should have a recall!!! Can any one help?

have you tried updating/researching the phones with the necessary drivers for these specific headsets/blue tooth devices? Its strange that the blue tooth feature is failing.

Goto your call log click the wheel and goto options, then goto general options and scroll down default call volume and raise the volume level.

These blackberries must be used. Try updating the operating system of each. A wired headset should work but some cheap headsets you may have to pull the connector out a little for it to get a good connection. Some Bluetooth headsets may not be compatible.
